Material Memory Tool (MMT)
Radio Frequency (RF) Technology, Bar
Coding, RFID,
Pick-To-Light and Factory Automation for your Warehouse
The Material
Memory Tool (MMT) is the data
collection system you have been looking for to bring your Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) system’s Materials
Management
functionality to life. It will help maximise the
productivity of your workforce and provide the highest levels of
accuracy and traceability while eliminating paperwork and unnecessary
errors from your warehouse operations.
The MMT solution is the one stop solution for Bar Coding, RFID,
Pick-To-Light
and automation functionality with ERP
systems.
Capable of interfacing to most systems, the MMT also has pre-built SAP
R/3 Materials Management (MM) interfaces.
MMT has two SAP R/3 variants; one is the WM version, which supports the
full feature set of SAP
R/3's Warehouse Management (WM) module, along
with most of the functions available in the MMT IM version.
The other is the IM
version, which supports a SAP R/3 implementation
that uses SAP R/3's Inventory Management (IM) module
without the WM
module.
MMT is a full application; that is, it requires no programming to use
the standard functionality. Customisation of the standard MMT
product is possible. Client requirements are fully evaluated
so that TIG has a complete understanding of where functionality may
need to depart from the standard product.
The MMT is an application that is specifically written to provide
operators the ability to perform speedy, and accurate warehouse
operations. The MMT is optimised for small screen terminals,
although it may be used on larger terminals that have bar code reading
capabilities. The MMT is specifically designed to minimise
the amount of typing that an operator must perform.
