New
Release of ATT software version 3.0r3
TIG International has announced a new version of its popular ATT
software. The new version of the software is version 3.0r3.
TIG
International paths the way by implementing a leading edge mobile
computing solution for the Western Australian Police Services.
The solution designed and built by TIG International, the Australian
company who is revolutionising the way organisations can get
information to and from their workers in the field. TIG
International utilised the rugged palm pilot device, the SPT 1700 from
Symbol Technologies. The solution allows information to be
easily downloaded to the palm of the employee's hand, working at any of
the Western Australian Police Services 300 locations throughout the
state. Information can then be easily collected, verified on
site and sent back up to the host SAP R/3 enterprise system.

Orica
Explosives uses Automatic Data Capture to extend it's supply chain
TIG International was successful in winning a tender to implement a
fully integrated batch barcoding system for Orica Explosives'
distribution network throughout Australia. This system
contained a number of critical business objectives that included:
·
A
requirement that the system be developed in Sydney and then rolled out
quickly to three other sites located in remote areas of
Australia;
·
The
hardware selection was critical to the process due to the remote
industrial nature of some of Orica's work sites that included mining
sites located in remote areas of Western Australia. There was also a
need to ensure the equipment was intrinsically safe due to the demands
of the explosives industry;
·
Orica
needed this solution to be fully integrated to their enterprise system
and require minimal internal support for it's daily operation;
and
·
A
team approach was to be utilised between TIG International and Orica to
ensure the greatest level of information transfer and that the system
was fully supported at an operational level within Orica.
Reebok

Experience
and a success record of fully integrating the barcoding system to

comprehensive support system which would be able to provide systems
integration and implementation services, logistic consulting services

company who had the ability to assist Reebok's shop floor
representatives understand the technology and take ownership of the
project.
·
TIG
International was able to easily accommodate these requirements and
many more. In a meeting just two weeks after the live date, Reebok
publicly praised TIG International for their professionalism, ability
to deliver, and their comprehensive support services.
OPSM

thereby providing the entire business with the same information
technology system covering logistics, financial, sales, human resources
and other applications. This provides all of OPSM's business areas with
live data in the one easy-to-use format. It greatly increases the
