The Motorola LI4278 is a wireless 1D bar code scanner, that can range up to 100m away from the (optional) presentation cradle in line of site (range is less with the standard cradle).  It can read virtually any 1D bar code — including the typical bar codes that are printed on paper labels; electronic bar codes displayed on the screen of a mobile phone, tablet or computer that allows retailers to easily process loyalty cards, mobile coupons and more; and the high density (HD) bar codes commonly used in electronic component manufacturing.

This scanner is programmable to support a wide variety of bar code types, and post amble.  It can be paided directly to an iPad using Bluetooth, or to a PC via the USB port of the desktop cradle.

The kit includes scanner, desktop charging and communications cradle, and usb cable.
