How Does It Work ?
The Key Tracking solution has been especially designed with a feature set for Car Dealership Service Departments who have a rolling fleet of Loan Vehicles.
You can now easily track which customers and drivers had access to a particular vehicle at any point in time.
This occurs via a simple key Check In - Check Out procedure that captures certain information when a set of keys have been issued and then returned.
A Bar Code scanner is used to scan the bar code affixed to the keys, and to scan Repair Orders (RO) or customer paperwork, Service Department ID’s or the drivers ID card. A Time and Date stamp is also recorded against any changes.
Maintaining electronics data records with accuracy can save your Service and Sales Departments potentially thousands of dollars each month in administration and speeding and parking fines incurred by people utilising your Loan Vehicles.
